  • There Ain't No Party Like a P-Funk Party

George Clinton and Funkadelic at Montreux in 2004. 1:45:00 of goodness.

Or, if you want to go directly to P-Funk mayhem, skip to 1:32:00. But then you would miss all of Lily Hayden on violin, who is like cowbell You're gonna want that cowbell. Try Sentimental Journey starting at about 0:49:35
    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Kw2...A#t=205.469478

BTW - Part 1 is Mike Hampton and Maggot Brain, with a Lily Hayden contribution. Also worthwhile if you speak funk.

“Maybe you shouldn't dress like that.”

“This is a blouse and skirt. I don't know what you're talking about.”

    “You shouldn't wear that body.”

I was speaking to my cousin today. I handle all his travel. He couldn't log in to his Delta skymiles account for his upcoming flight. I said that's because I was probably prompted to change it. I look it up. Oh..it's number, letter, symbol...and in the middle FUNK. Who knows what I was listening to the day I changed it. Maybe it was George. Thanks for posting. I enjoyed that.

Seeing a live performance is the best way. I was lucky enough to see them 3 times. Once in Colorado when I was stationed there, once in Lake Tahoe, and in Buffalo. All performances were amazing.
