I'll start by listing my favorite two. As you will see, I like light movies. I love Parent Trap, the original with Hayley Mills, and Sweet Home Alabama. I've seen and watched both numerous times.

I can watch Blazing Saddles or Young Frankenstein almost anytime.
I also like to watch Battleship and Guardians of the Galaxy and have watched The Abyss multiple times but that is a long movie.

The Lord of the Rings trilogy stayed true to the books and had amazing special effects. I also thought the recent Sherlock Holmes movies were pretty well done. For pure entertainment, the Now You See Me movies are a good waste of 2 hours.

Spies like us. I had this on a vhs tape I recorded back in the 80's and watched this movie many times. The Good Bad and the Ugly is another favorite for me. Monty Python and the Holy Grail is another. The first and second Hangover movies crack me up.

The Parent Trap was watched many times when my kids were kids.

All of the movies that have been posted are movies I like. I might need to update my Amazon list.

The Wizard of OZ, the one with Judy Garland, Blade Runner, and Cinema Paradiso. My kids are into Disney Renaissance films from The Little Mermaid to Tarzan.
