  • Kindle Book Prices

I've been a Kindle user (have had several different models) almost as long as they have been out. I probably have enough books loaded on mine to last my lifetime. Recently the books I've wanted to purchase have been very pricey - $12.99 or so. I don't think this is a bargain for using my Kindle. Checked my local library and book is available to check out for free. Has anyone else noticed this or am I just looking for the wrong books?

Still love my Kindle, just not book prices.

My wife has a Kindle, but she almost always reads books in the print format. She and my sister in law are always exchanging books in the print format- so it also is free.

My cousin is a librarian and when I was visiting she said she gets all her books free from the library. She gets the new ones by getting on a list. Free.

Same problem here - last book I read without nodding off was "never cry wolf". Try it - it will keep you awake.

I am prime. Just felt prices are getting higher. I've also noticed not as many paperbacks as before. They've gotten bigger and pricier.

I just got a kindle and I can't even figure out how to use it properly. I went to the free books and Im disappointed at the selection.

Go to http://bookbub.com and sign up for their daily email alerts of free and low cost books. You select which genre you are interested in and they will send you only selections in those categories. I’ve found a lot of good free books that way.
