Punk and very early Rap <think Run DMC when rap SAID something not the gangsta crap>. I also enjoy some classical like Vivaldi and Grieg. 60s are fun too.Lawren

Eric Clapton, Bonnie Riatt, or most of the 70's rock is perfect for me. Throw in a little Motown or some 70's R&B (ie Aretha, Stevie Wonder or Ray Charles) its all I need. Got a great local radio station that will play Guns and Roses and will follow it up with the Beatles. as far as what is in my CD player right now. Pearl Jam, Clapton, Riatt, Ray Charles and Buddy Guy

soul, funk, jazz, blues, gospel, reggae, alt-folk, alt-country, some selected pop, bluegrass, choral, symphonic, organ, brass, strings, guitar, classic rock, old school hip-hop.
I may have missed a few.
Not too big on world, electronic, elevator music, soft jazz (I can think of better things for KennyG to do with that instrument than put it in his mouth), most contemporary country outside of alt or bluegrass (but I do fall to pieces for Patsy Cline), and '60's style folk.“Maybe you shouldn't dress like that.”
“This is a blouse and skirt. I don't know what you're talking about.”
“You shouldn't wear that body.”

What is called "Country" today is what I would consider for the most part to be "Rock & Roll" of the seventies. Either way, I like them both. I would also include Texas Blues, Jazz (Fusion), Bluegrass, Folk (James Taylor Baby), Alternative, and many others except for Rap.
I remember hanging out at the New Wave Lounge in Ft. Lauderdale in the early 80's. I did not dress the part, but loved the music and dancing.
Little Feat Rocks!!!
