“Maybe you shouldn't dress like that.”

“This is a blouse and skirt. I don't know what you're talking about.”

    “You shouldn't wear that body.”

We noticed it, too. It appeared she might have thought she had won, raising her arms and smiling.

Then it turned into an obvious, disbelieving WHAT!

We ran it back enough times to focus on all the nominees and all the others were gracious.

Sure made her look like a b----, not at all her reputation.

Hey, cut the new kid some slack. She had a good year.

I saw this live and wondered what Faith Hill had said. It was a one syllable exclamation that was for sure. I'm glad to see that it was "WHAT" as opposed to something else.

I was dying laughing when it happened. She sure thought she won!

I sincerely believe it was a joke. She's never been the diva type. She's always seemed very thankful for everything that's come her way. I honestly think she was trying to be funny.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

From my inside source, my SIL, the DOOGOO, Faith Hill was far and away the top female performer for the year, the top box office on tour, and did not expect someone in the Horizon category, a newcomer, to get the award.

We believe the reaction was sincere disbelief that she had not won.

I don't see how that precludes her from reacting as she apparently did. She could be all of those things, and yet be convinced she had the award locked up and be shocked that she lost.

I like her alot. She made one of my fave singer/songwriters from Atlanta, Angie Aparo, kinda famous when she covered his song "Cry". Angie deserves the success, so Faith Hill has earned my admiration for sure.

I could see that she might be shocked at losing (and probably justifiably so), but she has always displayed such great dignity. It would be very uncharacteristic of her to react that way for any reason other than as a joke. One of our best friends was the keyboard player for several years for The Warren Brothers and he toured for quite awhile with the Warrens as the opener for Faith Hill and Tim McGraw. He has only wonderful things to say about both of them. In any event, I'm willing to give her the benefit of the doubt on this one.
