One of the great Christmas music albums

Prowling around eMusic I got reunited with an old "friend", John Fahey's A New Possibility. I had it on vinyl (it may even still be in the box under the stairs, but it's one of the many I wore out).

Highly recommended, especially if you have any ken for fingerpicking. If you follow the link, you should be able to sample it.

We still listen to the Salsoul Orchersta every year. Last year I went nuts blasting and I mean Blasting with a high end stereo system, The carol of the bells by I think it was either the Trans-Siberian Orchestra or by Mannheim Steamroller.

Well I had to go looking for the Trans-Siberian Orchestra CD. I blasted the Christmas in Sarajevo song. My wife came down yelling at me and she was right to do so. Yes it just happened to be midnight last night but everyone was up doing something. If they weren't there were now. That song makes my hair stand.

We just saw Mannheim Steamroller in Branson last Friday. It sure put us in the mood for Christmas.
