    The Carpenter's

It's an old, double CD, but it's got all my favorites and I still love hearing Karen Carpenter's voice.

We also like Mannheim Steamroller Christmas CDs.

I would like to second that motion of posting the names of the Hawaiian and Reggae Christmas albums. I really like Hawaiian and Reggae music.

I have a "tape" (it's that old) of traditional Christmas Carols played on hammer dulcemer which I always pull out this time of year.

My newest favorite album is Clay Aiken. I was so surprised by the quality of his voice on this album. I also bought Wynonna's but was not impressed. I like Kenny Chesney's and Jimmy Buffetts. I think my old favorite is the Alabama Xmas cd. Oh yeah, Kenny Rogers & Dolly Parton's album Candy Xmas. Can you tell I like country? That's why I was so surprised that I like Clay Aiken. shaggy

Ok, I am back (and GLAD to be back, for a change). The Hawaiian CD should be available on mele.com, it's called Hawaii's Favorite Christmas Songs. It's on Hula Records, may also be available on hularecords.com. It features 'Numbah One Day of Christmas..."

The other one I'm having trouble finding, but it's called A Reggae Christmas. There are two available on iTunes, I don't think either one is the one I have, but they look pretty good.

My favorite is called "Save the Children". My sil gave it to us years ago. It's a compilation of different Christmas songs sung by the then Broadway casts of various shows and is a two disc set. I have no idea where she got it and I don't think it's available any longer.

I also enjoy the Mannheim Steamroller CD we have and both the Luciano Pavarotti and Placido Domingo CDs (separate CDs, not on the same one).

I think it's the Trans-Siberian Orchestra. Younger dd has been trying to figure out which of their CDs the carol of the bells is on.

                    I forgot one

another fave of mine is Joey Ramone's "Christmas Spirits: In my House"

always have been a big fan of my hometown punk band and Joey's solo album has a great cover of "What a Wonderful World" that I can always listen to.

also like The Waitresses "Christmas Wrapping" for the fun factor.

The Waitresses I thought I might have been the only one-LOL. They are so fun.

Ok, for me it's "The Andy Williams Christmas Album"
It absolutely screams Christmas...loudly-LOL. I guess it what was played the whole time I was growing up and it stuck.

Oh and "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth" I sang that at the appropriate time and they came in crooked. I was mad. I changed it. "All I want for Christmas is two STRAIGHT front teeth"

                              Fun Thread.
