Our cat door only goes into the garage and not into the house. I can't imagine all the "presents" we'd get. No, thank you, they're bad enough in the garage.
The cat has a nice window perch in the garage. His house (also in the garage) is a new covered litterbox (we didn't tell him) with a soft blanket and a heating pad underneath for cold weather. He'd be welcome to stay in the house but being mostly nocturnal, it just wouldn't work.
He comes in to visit us but really prefers to be outside so he doesn't miss anything.
Not so dear daughter 1's dog goes to expensive "day and (sometimes) overnight camp." I can view him on my computer! They dress up for Halloween and do other holiday stuff. www.wagsdaycamp.com
