  • Golden Globes & Borat

Am I getting conservative in my old age? I'm not sure Sasha Baron Cohen's acceptance speech was ok for tv, even though it wasn't in primetime. Not so sure his movie Borat was funny, either. And I am no prude. Oh well, maybe it's true, I'm just getting old!

I haven't seen the movie and probably won't, but I thought his acceptance speech was hysterical.

I missed the speech...but think the movie Jackass is much better than Borat.

        Carol,
I thought his acceptance speech was gross. But from what I understand, so was the movie, so maybe he was trying to keep in character. Still, a mistake if you ask me.

His speech was great, I actually laughed out loud.
I have not seen the movie, not my cup of tea. But that was great.
It's gross out humor. You probably either love it or hate it.
