The Season Premiere of 'American Idol' just started.....

The new American Idol is on, and Paula Abdul seems to be sober.

The contestants are already crying, and they haven't even auditioned yet.

Looks like the first contestant didn't make it......Lots of tears.

OMG.....I can't believe some of these contestants......The King Of The Forest ??? One is worse than the other. Now, they're arguing with the judges. And, of course, more tears. This is getting hard to watch.

She sang a Jewel song with Jewel sitting there listening. Jewel was so embarrassed that she would not even comment. That girl was awful! She thought she was going to Hollywood!

I never watched it before! SPOILER ALERT! (In case anyone TIVOd it)


Some of them are really bad and obviously know it...but some of them seem pretty good to me, and they don't make it, while some of the ones they LOVE seem excruciating. (The "Over the Rainbow" girl? She was good?) You could see they really wanted that cute rocker boy and the whole thing with him dashing out to learn "Dancing Queen" in 15 minutes was so sweet...and then he comes back and sings it in the EXACT SAME VOICE!
