I just finished watching this evening's show. I agree it was very disappointing tonight. The good news is that Laura showed why she was my favorite after Jesus Christ Superstar.

Kathleen was horrible. She shouldn't have been saved. She will be the one that goes next week.

Allie was a terrible actress. And Ashley was very weak today.

I was surprised that Chad got voted into the bottom 4. His save was an easy one. Derek was very bad last week. I think his fan base voted him in. It's a good thing the judges can save one pair.

In the last 2 weeks, there were some awesome performances. Not so tonight except for Laura. I think she just took the lead in the contest.

I have only watched this sporadically, but did watch last night. boca you said about everything that I was thinking. I don't know which girl was ousted, but she must have been better than Kathleen.

I didn't like it a well either with just the girls. It seemed to show all of their flaws more. (Maybe this is what they wanted to see -- how their acting and singing was in a more concentrated environment) We'll see if the boys do any better alone next week. I agree that Laura was the only good one of the girls.

Well, it was 2 weeks in a row that Laura made a clean sweep of the hosts. And, she blew away the other girls. I think she will be Sandy unless America simply judges Sandy on looks alone. The final two will be Ashley and Laura.

I don't get why America didn't vote out Derek. This is 3 weeks in a row that he should have been booted. He wasn't good at all today.

Max had the best performance although the judges thought Austin was better. Hopefully, America will make the right choice and vote off Derek. However, I doubt they will.

The final should be Austin and Max. But, it will probably be Max and Derek given America's infatuation with his look and lack of talent.

Well there goes the theory that I was online with an eclectic group that was bored by tv, had no agendas, and loved Jesus. Next they will be discussing: "Who shot J.R.?" I'm otta here.

Though I cannot stand most of the programs on TV today, I do enjoy "Grease..." very much. I far prefer it to American Idol as I feel the talent and judging is far superior. However, I love Broadway Musicals which probably influences my opinion.

It was interesting to note that the judges have switched their preference from Max to Austin for Danny. Our favorite is Max. Austin has a great voice but appears somewhat plastic to us. In any event it is a great show.

I agree with you on both your picks. I also believe that America will pick Max and Laura but one never knows until the votes are in.

Just a guess, but it seems like Chad's votes will go to Max, I think the judges want Max and hyped Austin to steal votes from Derick. I do not think those voting for Austin and Derick will vote Max. If Derick cracks like he has on Broadway, it would be a disaster. The producer can't want derick no matter how good he looks!. Laura is definitely Sandy

Did you see Laura dressed as Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz? She looked the part. If they ever do a broadway version of that musical, she would be a perfect fit.

I just don't care for Austin, who is somehow trying too hard, often doesn't look natural...he did a great job on that last song, though, to survive the cut.

I only saw the show one evening. That particular evening, Laura was the only female that displayed any talent and she was really amazing. I hope she wins.

I dunno....

I hated to see Chad go - he grew on me... I hardly noticed him in the beginning but I thought he was good and looked the part. Somehow I just can't see Austin as Danny - he's good but maybe in another part... Max doesn't look much like Danny either though he's got the talent. I really liked Derek in the beginning, but even though he's got the looks, and he's good I'm not sure he's good enough to win. Maybe they can use some hair dye for both Danny and Sandy

Well, the finals were last night. All the judges went with Max and Laura. I hope they win.

I must admit, though, that Austin had better chemistry with both Laura and Ashley than did Max.

America got it right. No matter who wins, it should be a great show. I'm thinking about flying out to watch it this summer. Anyone want to go?

I like Max and Laura too, though I thought that both the others did a very good job last night, maybe even a smidge better than Max and Laura. I would definitely vote for M & L overall.
