My wife and I both agree on Max and Laura and we did our fair share of voting. We both feel that Austin is very plastic and sings to the camera rather than his partner. Max shows more emotion and feeling.

Austin reminds me of Rick Springfield. He would probably do well on General Hospital. He does have talent. I wish him well in whatever he does after this show.
Max will certainly get the sympathy vote. His story was very touching when he told us about his Bells Palsy. He developed a sense of humor and a strength to overcome adversity just to become normal. That is a story that will resonate with many people as they cast their votes and reflect upon how far he's come in just the 2 months of the show.
Laura is something special. The finals was tough because Ashley did very well, too. But for me, Laura just shined a little brighter and had more range and power in her singing.
It's a popularity contest now. It's really up for grabs.Comment

I finally watched the Grease finale tonight (I had it recorded) and I was very pleased with the results. Laura and Max are awesome and I would love to see them perform Grease on stage.
I really enjoyed this show. I hope they do something similar to it in the future. It was a refreshing change from American Idol.
