  • Are you smarter than a 5th grader?

This is a new show on Fox. It was pretty hilarious. The 5th graders were answering pretty quickly and the contestants were scratching their heads. They get lifelines, they can peak, copy or get saved by a 5th grader.

I caught part of it and it was pretty funny. I always liked Jeff Foxworthy.

I find it refreshing to watch the kids and the bubbly personalities of some of them.

I like this show. I am just trying to remember if I had to learn these questions in first through fifth grade. I missed a few questions; I sure the ones I got right I learn after fifth grade. But who knows I may have just relearned them later in life.
Ihis show is fun to watch, I just wish they would quit having so many commercials.

I enjoy Foxworthy a lot but for some reason I don't think the show will last very long.

If I had to guess I would think it will probably last about as long as the current American Idle series. Since it has been showing immediately after that each night.

              Thumbs Up

We like game shows and enjoy this one. Those kids are really cute and smart.

I caught a few minutes of it. IMO you need to find adults who are dumb in order for the show to work. This way us as the audience can be more right then them and have fun watching.

The questions are a joke and Frank is right, the only way this works is to have really dumb adults. I just don't like to watch really dumb people. ( except of course Jay Leno's "street walking" )

                    5th grader

I also saw part of one show. It was entertaining, but I knew all the answers and the contestant was struggling. I guess they do have to pick less than stellar contestants.

I got really stressed out by it and could only watch for ten minutes. The contestant I saw seemed like a very nice woman, but she thought Mexico's border with the US is longer than the border with Canada. The fifth grader saved her tush.

                        10 minutes was too long

I didn't like the show... I saw a few minutes of the beginning and then the credits at the end and thought when I saw the names of the producers that if my name were there I would be embarrassed. All the way to the bank I guess but embarrassed nonetheless.

Those are might precocious kids-- and they were really cute. The adults were goofy. The one woman thought only three states bordered the Pacific. What a goof! I don't think I can watch the show for the "game" part of it, but watching the kids will be hilarious. They were adorable.
