Sanjaya...Finally, he's gone!!!
Last night, Sanjaya was finally kicked off American Idol. I know that he has many fans, but all that I can say is....Yippee!!

He was no worse than Blake or the other Justin Timberlake wannabe. I'll miss his sense of humor and smile, but we won't see the last of him. He's gonna be a star!

I Was Not a Fan Of Sanjaya, But.....

I also think than most kids of 17 would not be able to handle being on AI in front of 38 million people each week like he did.
That said, Jordin is Amazing. She is more than holding her own against some semi-pros like Doolittle.

I agree with Carol, the kid is adorable and will probably be a star one day. I liked the way he sang that last song. He is not American Idol material, but how many young stars could make it on that show? Ashley Simpson! She lacks talent for sure.
Many of the young stars today are really not very talented, but they do have charisma, and that might just make Sanjaya famous!Comment

They are all boring
There is no Cary Underwood or Chris Daughtrey or Kelly Clarkson with this bunch. None of them are even pleasant to look at. They kicked off all the good looking women. Melinda or whatever her name is sings the best but ugly dont sell records and wont get people to go to their concerts. American Idol this year blew it.ClarenceComment

No matter what ... I'll miss Sanjaya. He's just a kid, but has poise and a presence of mind much greater than kids his age. Not to mention an off-beat sense of humor. And, he can sing ... just doesn't fit the AI mold.
I hope it will now come down to Melinda and Blake. I like Jordin's singing but she is getting a little too "cute" for me!Comment
