Unlike J.K. Rowling with Harry Potter, George Lucas didn't sit down and write a complete series of screenplays before starting to make Star Wars. When he did Star Wars, he may have had some thoughts of a back story and ending, but it wasn't really very complete. Thus he made up a lot of things as he went, and there are lots of pieces of the story that don't really hang together very well.
In that context, this guy has taken a stab at filling in some of the holes in the storyline that Lucas never got around to filling - or couldn't think of how to fill.
A New Sith, or Revenge of the Hope
Reconsidering Star Wars IV in the light of I-III
Would you believe Chewie was just using Han Solo as a front man??
