  • Don Knots died

I came home and heard this Yesterday. I did not see it posted so in case you did not hear I wanted to let you know. Don was 81 when he died. Whats I found funny is my son and other kids his age never heard of him. This last year it seems that we lost some of the best comics of our time. Gilligan, Don Adams and now Don Knots.

TWO MORE TOP RATED ACTORS HAVE PASSED ON SINCE

DARREN MCGAVIN AND NOW DENNIS WEAVER. I ENJOYED DON KNOTTS ESPECIALLY THOSE 3 MOVIES HE MADE IN THE 60's . The SHAKIEST GUN IN THE WEST. MR LIMPET WHERE HE TURNS INTO A FISH. THE OTHER ONE WAS ABOUT A HAUNTED HOUSE.

DARREN MCGAVIN AND DENNIS WEAVER WERE TWO OF MY FAVORITES.

It is sad to see those greats leave us. Also, it makes me feel old. Need to live life everyday, never know when it will be our last.

I really liked all of them . Mt Airy ( true town of Mayberry) is on the news and a big deal is being made of Don KNotts death. The business owners of Snappy Lunch and Floyd's Barbershop were interviewed today and they were talking so highly of him. I miss the good clean comedians. shaggy

"They" always say celebrity deaths happen in three's..........

Bummer, as a kid I loved watching the Apple Dumpling Gang, Hot Lead and Cold Feet, and No Deposit No Return. I think Darrin MaGavin was in Hot Lead and No Deposit.

Darren M. reminds me of my 81 year old father. My father is an "Oldmobile Man". I did help my dad change tires with similar results as Ralphie had. BB guns were priority on our Christmas lists and my mother cringed, dad was no comment but low and behold, eventually a bb gun at about 8 yrs old. Also remember shoveling coal in our basement furnace and an occasional "klinker" that fouled up the heating system. Worse yet, here In MN, we dressed exactly like the Christmas story kids and if you did fall on your back with a parka on...it was damned hard to get up. Tongue on the frozen pole...been there, done that. Don't recommend. I'll tell you about the bb gun fights sometime.
