In all of my wildest dreams I never thought I would begin to appreciate Opera. But like fine wine my taste is getting better with age. Listen to the clip in this link from the NPR website. This guy Juan Diego Florez can really belt out a tune. Don't know what the heck language he is singing but it sure sounds great!

Wow, he has a great voice!! Of the snippets I heard, it sounded like he was singing Italian.

This is not in Italian..I think it's in French, the name of the aria sounds french too.
