Lawren never 110 on Cross Bay but it did drag race with some guy who was testing me in my 1970 Malibu through the nature preserve on Cross Bay leading to the Rockaways. Turns out it was an unmarked Highway Cop. Ouch.

(If you were stranded on a desert island and could only pick 5 Cds to bring with you, what CDs would you pick.) Jay McShann's Paris All-Stars CD is one of mine.
And here is video of that concert that I didn't know existed. This is about 8 minutes of great jazz, with Jay McShann on piano fronting an All-Star jazz band in a great concert in Paris.
