Anybody Watching Survivor this Season?

We have watched every episode of Survivor from Day One. This has been the most interesting season in several, I think, with lots of doublecrossing and so forth.

I would be happy if any of Sugar, Bob or Matty won. Susie would drive me mental and I could live with Ken winning - he's played well, I just don't like him.

We are really looking foward to the finale on Sunday.

The key to Survivor is to always believe you are next to go. Whenever someone thinks that they are in control, they get nailed by someone who flip/flopped on them.

Last night was brilliant play by Sugar. I just thought she was a dumb blonde. But, she was really sharp in pulling off that blindside.

I hope that Bob wins. Some times the good guys do win. The problem is that the good guys get voted off early since they are viewed as threats. Who remains are non threatening weaklings like Susie who have no business still in game.

I'd like for them to change the rules of voting next season where you earn extra votes by earning some type of survival currency. For instance, everyone gets 100 survivor bucks per day. They pay for various things like food and get paid for other duties like cooking or fishing. This way lazy people don't get away with their lameness while watching others do all the work. They don't deserve a full vote if everyone else is carrying their weight in the game.

I think you can watch the episodes online. Or, if you don't want to watch it cbs.com provides a good write up.

Also, for those who don't know, if you go to the cbs Suvivor website there is a link to Ponderosa, which is where the jury members are sent when they're vote off. Each week there are a couple of short clips. It's pretty funny, and interesting to see the reactions of each of the voted off members. I'm not envying Crytal, since pretty much everyone who is already on the jury hates here. Corrine even said they'd make life miserable for whoever got voted off next. Pretty mature, huh?

I'm personally hoping for Bob.
However you do have to give props to Sugar who found the idol on her first try, has had it the entire time, never had to play it, and then was able to make it work for Matty.
Cool move and good to see Crystal go, an Olympic gold medalist who couldn't seem to do much of anything, even run, when it counted.
Kenny has played well too but like another poster, I just don't like him.

Wow!!

What a great finale. One of the best in years. In deference to our West Coasters, I won't say anything else but the whole two hours was twists and turns.

Bob deserved it. I'm glad he won. I grew fond of Sugar in the last half of the season. I think she played a great game and it's too bad she didn't get any votes.

It would have been a travesty had Susie won. She was horrible and almost won. Yuck.

Man, Corinne is evil. She is the real life mean girl. I wonder if she gets away with being a total B because she is so attractive.

Kenny is a dope. He actually believed that Bob should honor his word even when he knew that Kenny was going to stab him in the back. That demotes Kenny in my mind to Dreams status as amongst the all time losers in Survivor history.

Pretty much sums up how I felt. I think the outcome might have been differnt for the 100K popularity vote if they'd held it after the finale. Sugar would have won for sure. She played a very good game.

As for Corrine, I think she's trying to spin this into a career for herself. She's almost guaranteed to be back on any sort of All Star show, and she's gotten a lot of airtime and interview time, I think.

The funny thing is it seems the press is much more interested in Sugar.

Somehow I think they should exclude the winner of survivor from getting the 100K for the popular vote contest.

With Matty out, I figured Bob was a shoe in with the jury--was totally surprised that Susie got that many votes.

I am glad Bob won. I thought this season, as well as the past 3 or 4, have been great. If Susie did not win immunity, and Bob, Sugar and Matty were in the finals, who would have won? I don't know because Matty was also popular.

I am also glad Bob won, however I think Sugar played the game better than any of the three. I am surprised she didn't get any votes. Probably because of the shameful behavior over Randy's ouster. The jury seemed to cave in to vindictiveness rather than vote for the best player as past juries have done.

I'm with you. I really liked Sugar in the end and I liked the good vs evil strategy. Susie did absolutely nothing and in no way deserved to win -- I couldn't even believe she got votes! It was another story when the player who is just coasting and flying under the radar almost wins (or wins!).

I am very happy that Bob won -- he deserved it -- and he rocked at challenges!!! Who would've thunk it??
