Has anyone been watching the bachelor?

I have watched several seasons. This one was interesting. I was touched by Jason's sensitivity.

But I just finished watching the "after the last rose" show and I think he's a little nutty now.

I did not watch it but just saw the recap on Jimmy Kennel live. So let me get this straight, He asked a girl to marry him and she said yes on TV. Then he asks another girl that was on the show for a date. She looks at him like he is nuts but I think she said OK. He then breaks up with the other girl that he just asked to marry and she calls him a Jerk. DidI get it right?

Yes, he got engaged to Melissa. Over the weeks that passed before the conclusion of the show, he decided that Melissa wasn't the girl for him and he wanted to get to know the other girl better.

Apparently they had to participate in the "after the last rose" show where he broke up with Melissa. She called him something a little stronger than "jerk". Then they bring on the other girl, without Jason there. She confesses that she still loves him. Jason comes back on and says that he'd like to start again with her. She is totally confused but when she finds out that Jason and Melissa are broken up, she is happy to try again with Jason.

What a soap opera. What I don't understand is why he felt that he needed to get engaged when he had such strong feelings for girl number 2.

Oh well. it's their lives, not mine.

Honestly, I think all these "reality" shows have a lot more fiction than they appear to have. They all have full writing staffs for a reason. I don't watch the show, but the buzz on the two-woman thing was everywhere, so that even I know about it. It sounds totally cooked up to me, like some writer came up with a "twist."
