I had thought Danny was going to win it but Changed my mind in the last 6 weeks. I felt that Adam has been the best ever to be on that stage. I can not believe he did not win, Criss is good but IMO should not have even been in the finale 2. Am I a lone thinking that?

I was totally blown away by the choice.

I think it turned into a popularity contest/voting for the cute one rather than the one with the most talent.......that said, I am sure Adam will do just fine.

I really wanted Adam to win, and thought that he was so much more deserving. Yes, he did tend to scream a bit, but he had so much more talent, in my opinion. Shame.

I was completely surprised. I bet Kris got most of the Danny votes; provided that those people continued to vote.

I loooove Adam. That said, I think Kris is also very talented, but (obviously) in a more all-American, boy-next-door way. There was a backlash against Adam, and Kris got the Danny votes, and there you are.

They both seem like very sweet guys. I hope they both have great careers ahead of them!

Adam was my fav from day one! Loved him and still say he "has it all" The good news is he will do just fine! I REALLY liked his Mad World Tuesday night. I thought of Heathcliff in Wuthering Heights , and Edward in Twilight.

I was shocked as well. Kelli was really p'ode . She put in 233 votes for Adam that she thinks was waisted. She has great seats for the tour/concert. 6th row up beside the stage!! shaggy

Why does this surprise anyone? After all, the show is called American Idol, not American Talent. Idol means much more: looks, personality, stage presence, talent, etc.

On another note, I loved the show. So many talents. Kris in a duet with Keith Urban!!! How kool was that?!! Adam duo-ing with Kiss!! There were so many great performances.

I sure was surprised. True, Kris is very likable, but the talent that Adam has is so impressive. The best talent I've seen on Idol so far, in my opinion.

Excuse me for being so clueless, but, does voting for Idol cost money? Or is there no impact with unlimited texting plans? Just curious.
