News of how Corey Haim died have not been released yet but if indeed it was a drug overdose I for one have zero sympathy. People choose to take drugs by choice and he would join a long list of well known "famous" junkies who fail to cope with the fame and fortune that most of us can only dream of.
In contrast there is a funeral in Ontario, Canada tomorrow for a 37 old Police Constable (Vu Pham) who was shot dead by a 70 year old gunman who was pulled over by Police, little did they know he was allegedly driving to kill his estranged wife. In the resulting gun battle Vu Pham was killed and another constable hurt.
Vu Pham was a refugee from Vietnam and raised by Foster parents and has been in the police force for 15 years protecting the Country he loved, married with 3 small young boys.
Now please tell me how I can have sympathy for an over indulged junkie from tinselltown when real hero's and innocent people are dying (through no fault of their own) on a daily basis.

Pray for them all- and let God sort them out!
I think I saw that on a T-shirt in Gainesville once, and while I thought it was a funny take-off on an old standard- it sorta made sense to me.my travel website: Vacation-Times.org.

not many children make it out of hollywood, but drew barrymore is my favorite example of someone who Beat It.
It's sad that a young life of stardom and excess never straightened out. addiction is a disease. taking the drugs to start with is a choice.
but we don't knwo how he died yet. didn't brittany murphy turn out to be medical?
