It was in the 80's today at our place in Southern California. It is getting cool at night now but the days are beautiful. We typically have a 30-40 degree differential between night and day.

I have had the A/C and heat turned off for a couple weeks now.

Maybe it's time to pay the bill.

I'm not ready, either....Just got back from 85 degree weather, and coming home to this is just awful!

Ugh, yuck, Tony. It's freezing rain/snow/sleet/wind by me. So far, no accumulations, but its miserable out there.

I thought the weather men were going to be wrong so I took it light. I had to turn the heat on. I do not remember ever getting snow and ice in Oct. This sucks

                          Still no snow in MinneSNOWda.

I remember well the Halloween Blizzard 20 years ago. No trick or treating (or work or school) that year.

                            Tree limb in pool

Cold....family wanted the heat turned up. The cost of oil is not that low!! Branches cracking, breaking, tree in front (small) fell over in to the front door and windows. Good thing my thin daughter was able to squeeze by to push tree out of the doorway.

Problem...large limb fell into the above ground pool. It can not stay there all winter. Any clue how to remove this? I have to call someone to help as I can not do this.

Just got power back overnight. A large branch from an oak tree fell on my truck sometime late in the storm- hope to remove it today.
