    Unseasonable weather

    Just wondering if we are the only ones having this great weather lately? It is not even spring, and were are having 20 degree celsious tempuratures and sitting on patios. This is 15 degrees higher than normal, and setting daily records not reached in 40 years.

    Not that I am complaining, but if this keeps up by mid summer we'll be at 40 and 45 degrees. Ouch!

    I was just thinking myself that we just won't have a spring this year. 75F in New York and I'm loving it. although I like spring temps, my ankles like warmer.

      It's already spring in NY.....Crocus & Daffodils are up. Foliage & buds on all my rose bushes, & 75% weather. I love it!

        Believe it or not, we have snow in San Diego county (mountain areas) today.

          Well, we're unseasonable in the Vegas Valley today too. Early this morning we got down to 31º, and I lost at least one of my low to the ground shrubs (maybe more, I haven't checked the back). It is now about 51º, and that is suppose to be as warm as it gets. It will get up to the mid-70's by the end of the week, which is more common this time of year.

            Sure its all fun and games when you're outside enjoying the sun...But when you're sitting in an old drafty office building and the A/C turns on because of the temperature outside.....It's no fun at all!

                AC is running full blast already here. It's probably in the high 80's here.
                Luckily the humidity is low. There are people in the pool in my building already. The kids are having a blast this spring break in the pool and it's not even heated. Usually you can't get in the pool til May but this year you could get in in December if you weren't a native Floridian.

                  I think we got close to 80 today- I had to quit working in the garden because it got so hot. Thursday looks like it will be even hotter.

                    It is 79 degrees here in Missouri at 7:00pm.

                      The great thing about warm weather is I give up my heavier winter comfort foods and red wines and go for the light crispy salads with a protein and vinho verde or pinot grigio.

                      There are some great baby asparagus deals out there right now too!

                      I just hope it won't be a million degrees and muggy this summer.

                          I think you East Coasters deserve this spectacular weather....especially after last year. Karma of sorts....because I'm So Cal and it snowed (albeit lightly) at my house yesterday and the day before.

                            We here in Minneapolis have had 9 record setting days in March, 3 of the days was while we were enjoying the warm weather in Las Vegas.

                              42 degrees here at 9 am. Yesterday snow. I can't wait until it gets back to 80 on Thursday!!!
