United Kingdom Airports just shut down

Gatwick , Birmingham, Heathrow, and Manchester are some of the airports that have shut down. Looks like a bummer.

Weird.. Lax, Burbank, McClaren and John Wayne have shut down. It looks like a computer glitch ?

Flights in LA area are back on....unless things have changed again.

The Federal Aviation Administration issued a ground stop about 2:20 p.m. as officials dealt with "unspecified computer issues" at its Los Angeles Center air traffic control facility, the FAA said in a statement.

Travelers at LAX, Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, John Wayne Airport in Orange County, Ontario and Oakland airports reported flights being grounded. Airports resumed flights by 3:20 p.m.

Well, I smoked a rabbit the other day. Rabbits are pretty small and not worth the effort to cook, imo. Anyway, its just odd that there wasn't really anything on the news about the airport closures except a little blip about lax being closed for 6 hours. The day before the UK and west coast airport closures had 4 airplanes doing emergency landings in Indianapolis.

Another odd dealio with all of this airport closure news was that the phone service, including cell phone service for southern California went out yesterday around the same time as the LAX closure.

This is being blamed on a spy plane flying at 60,000 ft. for the LAX closure. Maybe all of them are connected by the edram system.
