Fraudulent Credit/Debit Card transactions

Be on the lookout for fraudulent credit card or debit card transactions from Dream Smile and LeanRX.net. Last month, a $14.95 charged appeared on my credit card from Dream Smile. I contacted the credit card company and they too were suspicious and wanted to cancel my card. I should have done so, but didn't as they had an email address for Dream Smile which I used and received a reply that an error was made and the charge would be reversed. Well, three weeks later, the charge remains and now today a new charge of $74.95 from Leanrx.net. I did a quick search on the internet (under leanrx.net) and found others who had the identical charges from the two companies. I quickly called my credit card company and they will reissue me a new card and remove the unauthorized charges. It seems that a fraud scheme is at work here and I bet many others are being hit with these charges. What a pain to get a new card as I have many recurring charges that I need to contact with a new card number. Yet, well worth it since my card number has been compromised.

Yes that is a bummer. I always have multiple credit cards so that if there is a problem with one, I have something to use. I recently had a little fraud attempt and had a card cancelled.
