How sure are they, really??? And, can we trust them???Although they are sure that it will miss us, they are worried about the disturbance that such a close pass will give to the asteroid’s orbit.

I think they're just making this up to justify asking for big bucks for a new-fangled version of SDI to prepare to knock out allegedly incoming asteroids. Don't say I didn't warn ya!
