    I can't believe there would be such a high demand for linux on new PCs. I do think healthy competition is a good thing

        The biggest problem for competitors is that corporate IT managers are always going to purchase the safe choice, which is MS. Also, most consumers expect MS on their new PCs. Again, it comes across as the safest option.

            I'm an old retired IT Corporate Manager from many many years ago ~~ If "Safest Option" was what I wanted to do back then & even now ~~ We all would have "Mac's" on our desks !! ~~

              lol....the Mac was probably the better product. I have sold software for 20 years, and there is an old saying that nobody ever got fired for buying IBM hardware or Microsoft software.
