Must be a shortage of corn cobs here in Iowa since all of our corn is now going to biofuels and you can't even BUY an ear of local corn for supper. The farmer's market where we buy our summer fruits and veggies are getting $.50 for an ear . . . back in Wisconsin local summer corn was easily found 10 or 12 ears for a buck!!

All kidding aside, Marshalltown is where that large meat packing plant bust of illegals took place. I believe it was a Hormel plant.

This story reflects badly on Iowans and former Iowans, rubs us the wrong way.

Perhaps she was just roll-playing, or padding her bra, ala junior high.

This lady has other theft charges. Can you picture the conversation she would have in prison with the other inmates if this was a 3-strike situation?
