  • Careful in New Zealand- flying hedgehogs !!!

BBC NEWS | Asia-Pacific | NZ man 'used hedgehog as weapon'

  • #2
The police spokesman said the suspect was arrested "for assault with a weapon, namely the hedgehog."
Sheesh, if you asked another hedgehog, I'd bet they say he should have been indited for murder.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

He looks to be a cute little guy. But when he grows up, would you have one in your home?

Maybe not, but I sure as heck would never throw one at someone, causing their death.

BTW....If I lived on a farm, I would have one.

Per Wikepedia: "Hedgehogs feed on insects, snails, frogs and toads, snakes, bird eggs, carrion, mushrooms, grass roots, berries, melons, and watermelons." They say they get along OK with dogs and cats.

So they might not be ideal for some farms. I looked for pet hedgehogs for sale but could only find stuffed ones-(they are easier to care for).

I know someone who has one and it's a cute pet.
