Yes - I came home the other day and it was $2.19. The next morning it was $2.25. Today it's $2.39, and another station near here is $2.47.

I actually found it cheaper at the station closer to my home on the Cape than on the mainland. It was $1.93 two weeks ago; today it is $2.19, and out idiot governor is talking about add $0.19 to the current gas tax!

I had remarked to my friend in Wisconsin last weekend that their prices were a bit high....came home and paid the same amount over the border in NJ $2.06/gallon.

They have a Sinclair station though. I haven't seen one of those since I was a little kid visiting my grandmother in Miami.

Friday on the way to Wal Mart I noticed stations along the way at $2.06. Wal Mart was $1.92.

          Today Wal Mart is $2.06.

As we get closer to the Memorial Day holiday, I won't be surprised if gas prices reach close to the $3.00 level. I am amazed at how many cars are still on the road at all times of the day - despite the economic downturn and loss of jobs.

I paid $2.39 yesterday for Shell regular here in Murrieta, CA. This is up just $0.04 from my last gas purchase 3 weeks ago.

According to GasBuddy.com, Arizona now has the cheapest priced gas in the country. A few weeks ago, Utah was the cheapest but now is not even in the list of the 10 cheapest states.
