They have stopped the news feed with no news on where they boy may be. Balloon wasn't even supposed to carry a person. I am sure we will hear more soon.

I don't know. What I would think is that either:

a) He released the balloon by accident, then got scared and is hiding somewhere.

b) He did get on the balloon (which is what one of his older brothers reported) and was in it when it flew off.

I don't see either of these scenarios as a hoax.

On the MSNBC video feed, they were saying that there had already been an extensive search of the little boy's home and the area immediately around it. He is not there.

If I'm wrong and the child did fall out I will feel horrible for suggesting this scenario, but it is possible. We have all seen situations like this, that turned out to be not what was originally reported.

Yes, that is a possibility. And in truth I'd rather have it be this one that the one where he was in the balloon and fell out.

Me too, although I don't think the parents would stage something like this for media attention.

I'm just praying that no harm has come to the boy.

I hope the boy is ok, regardless of what happened. But if I had a big hot air balloon in my yard, my 6 year old would surely have tried to fly off in it. And he doesn't even have a bird name...

Falcon found alive at house.....Never in the balloon. That's all the info, at this time.

Not sure what went on here, but thank God that the boy's not hurt.
