  • Romney Storm Warnings

Sorry, I don't mean to poke fun when so many are hurting, but I need to share the warnings Romney issued prior to Sandy coming ashore.

    1. If you may be in the storm's path, go to your second or third home.
    2. If it is a legitimate storm, don't worry because your home has a way of shutting that whole thing down.
    3. If your home suffers damage, ask your parents for some more money.

Bloomberg backs Obama/Biden (because he needs a 3 person car pool to get back into Manhattan).

Just remember that if you go out there and rebuild what you lost without waiting for the government to do it for you, it doesn't count because you didn't do that yourself.
“Maybe you shouldn't dress like that.”

“This is a blouse and skirt. I don't know what you're talking about.”

      “You shouldn't wear that body.”

When I was a boy and we didn't like what was served, my mother used to tell us to think of the starving children in China. I guess that now it would be the starving children on Staten Island.

My mom always referenced the starving children in Armenia. Some folks don't believe children starve in America because poor people have microwave ovens. Besides, Romney bought plenty of food that his supporters could pretend to donate at his photo-op. So nobody needs FEMA. Besides, there is no need to worry about the oceans rising. Romney said so.

Shouldn't this thread be on the Political Board?

Now we are getting posts here which do not even pretend to be jokes.

I posted my own discussion of political humor on the Political board:

Yes carolinian has a point, this has gotten political, but I like Bandweller's point, a candidate purchases food and has his supporters pick it up and bring it to him in front of cameras for the publicity. I guess that is how politicians act and it is sad.
