I'll have to remember the part about driving the screwdriver through the oil filter to get it off when the filter wrench doesn't work. That's a good idea.
“Maybe you shouldn't dress like that.”

“This is a blouse and skirt. I don't know what you're talking about.”

    “You shouldn't wear that body.”

Yes at least job is done right!

2 years ago I went to a Ford Dealer to have oil changed in my Taurus. The grease monkey neglected to fill the oil after draining. Drove the car off the lot, and pulled over. Also got sideswiped in the process because I was so distraught about seeing the engine oil light. At that moment I knew there was no oil in the engine!

Luckily there was no internal damage to the engine. I filed a complaint to every NYS agency I could think of. All the dealer did for me was refund my money and give me a 12K warranty on any internal lubricated parts. I had to fork over the money of the body damage.

The Ford dealer is Tower Ford in Great Neck, NY. Do yourself a favor and stay away from Tower Ford!

It does not surprise me that Ford Motor Company is having such financial problems these days. At the time I also sent a letter about the incident to Ford CEO Bill Ford in Dearborn Michigan. The best I got out of them was a phone call from some tech rep. The rep said that Ford is not responsible for workmanship issues at their Ford Dealerships!

Moral of the story is. Stay away from the Jiffy Lubes, and the Ford Dealerships. Go have a beer and change your own motor oil!
