  • Dear Abby........

    Dear Abby:

My husband is a liar and a cheat. He has cheated on me from the
beginning, and, when I confront him, he denies everything. What's
worse, everyone knows that he cheats on me. It is so humiliating.
Also, since he lost his job six years ago, he hasn't even looked for a
new one. All he does all day is smoke cigars, cruise around and
bullshit with his buddies while I have to work to pay the bills.
Since our daughter went away to college he doesn't even pretend to
like me and hints that I may be a lesbian. What should I do?
    Signed: Clueless

    Dear Clueless:

Grow up and dump him. Good grief, woman. You don't need him anymore! You're a
United States Senator from New York running for President of the United States.
    Act like one.

If you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change.

BTW, I'm still keeping track of how many times you annoy me.

From what the media reports, I think the husband is probably making plenty of money paying the bills. Probably much more than the job he lost six years ago.

Acutally, he did not lose his job. The Constitution of the United States does not allow for a third term.

        Angela,

You may have to get this thread moved to the Political forum before it's too late.

Good lord, this is just a joke and a pretty good one at that. Why are some of you so sensitive and take it so seriously?

              John,

I thought all of the other comments were pretty lighthearted! The first one that sounds sensitive and serious to me is actually yours! (Maybe it's the "Good lord" at the beginning!)

                    Because of FDR.

My friend sent this joke to me about the same time as it was originally posted.

                      It's a good one!
