  • Tick Warning

    VERY, VERY IMPORTANT!

Pass it to all your contacts!!!

I hate it when people forward bogus warnings, and I have even done it myself a couple times unintentionally ... but this one is real, and it's important. So please send this warning to everyone on your e-mail list.

If someone comes to your front door saying they are checking for ticks due to the warm weather and asks you to take your clothes off and dance around with your arms up, DO NOT DO IT!! THIS IS A SCAM!! They only want to see you naked.

I wish I'd gotten this yesterday. I feel so stupid.

I guess feeling stupid would really depend on the nature of the person knocking on the door. If that person was some guy that appears to be someone of disputable age and reputation, then, yes feel stupid.

If that person was a young goreous female and asked you that, whats the problem?

Here's another scam that Fern warned us about several months ago.

I don't know how many of you shop at Sam's Club, or Costco, but this may be useful to know.

I became a victim of a clever scam while out shopping. This happened to me and it could happen to you - or anyone you know.

        Here's how the scam works:

Two seriously good-looking 23-year-old well-built guys come over to your car as you are packing your shopping into the trunk. They are both shirtless and start wiping your windshield with a rag and Windex, with their highly-defined chest muscles and rock-hard abs exposed. It's impossible not to look.

When you thank them and offer them a tip, they say 'no', and instead ask you for a ride. You agree, and they get in the back seat.

On the way, they start talking dirty about what they want to do to you. Then one of them climbs over into the front seat and begins kissing your neck and begging you to pull over so he can make love to you.

While this is going on, the other guy steals your purse.

I have had my purse stolen last Tuesday, Wednesday, twice on Thursday, again on Saturday, and also yesterday and most likely, tomorrow. I have a few more old purses in my closet that I can dig out for next week.
“Maybe you shouldn't dress like that.”

“This is a blouse and skirt. I don't know what you're talking about.”

        “You shouldn't wear that body.”
