  • 'Circumcised' (this is priceless!)

For all of you teachers, parents with sons, grandsons, or those who just love the things little kids say ~ a reminder that adult words are often taken literally.....

A teacher noticed that a little boy at the back of the class was squirming around, scratching his crotch, and not paying attention. She went back to find out what was going on. He was quite embarrassed and whispered that he had just recently been circumcised and he was quite itchy.

The teacher told him to go down to the principal's office, and to telephone his mother and ask her what he should do about it.

He did and then returned to his class.

Suddenly, there was a commotion at the back of the room. She went back to investigate only to find him sitting at his desk with his 'private part' hanging out.

'I thought I told you to call your mom!' she said.

'I did,' he said, 'and she told me that if I could stick it out till noon, she'd come and pick me up from school.'

            Thanks tonyg.
I used font size 1. I previewed post and it appeared fine to me. I posted and went on reading jokes.
I'll put this as 2 and this as 1 so I can see the dif.

Looking in Preview Post, the size 1 appears larger then size 2.
            Wonder what gives?

              True story

This reminds me of a true story. A good friend of mine is an elementary school proncipal.

The kindergarten teacher sent a little boy to the principal's office with a note. The principal read the note which stated that the boy keeps unzipping his fly and pulling his penis out. The principal asked him if he keeps unzipping his fly. He replied yes. Then she asked him if he keeps pulling his penis out and he again replied yes. After a small lecture on the inadvisability of such a practice, she asked him why he was doing it. He said that it was so hot that he had to air it out. She could hardly keep her composure.

I am a school nurse. In one of our elementary schools, the teacher sent a child down to the nurse because "she had an accident". When she arrived the little girl was crying inconsolably because she had an accident. My friend, the nurse, called the parent and asked her to leave work and pick up her daughter because she was hysterical about her accident.
When they got home, the mom went to change the daughter's clothes and found her dry. She asked about the accident, and the daughter told her she had an accident - she colored outside the lines!
Well, we had such a laugh over this, but the mother was angry she was asked to leave work for this. Now we all remember to ask what kind of accident the child had before we call the parent!

This reminds of something my teacher told me when he was in preschool many years ago...

My son is bilingual in Chinese & English. In his preschool class, there was another Chinese boy, Daniel, who didn't understand English. So, one time the teacher asked my son to "tell Daniel to sit down, in Chinese". Well, my son didn't realize the teacher was asking for a translation, so he repeated those exact same words, including "in Chinese", to Daniel, all in English. The teacher couldn't stop laughing...
