I went to say good by to my neighbor (who is moving to New Hampshire tomorrow) and she gave me a huge container with a boiled dinner.
There was about one and a half beef briskets in the container.
I set aside the potatoes and some slices of beef to reheat for dinner.
I used the bones and scraps of meat to make split pea soup.
Now I have quite a bit of beef left, I would guess 3 pounds.
Next week I will have company so thinking I should freeze it and make beef brisket sandwiches - or should I make the mixture now and then freeze it?
Anyhow, I have never made beef brisket barbecue, but thought I would put it in a crock pot with barbecue sauce.
I would appreciate any ideas with what to do with this meat.
