    Satisfy Your Sweet Tooth with a Great Recipe


    One Box of Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe
    Pineapple Supreme Premium Cake Mix

    Mix in
    Three Large Eggs
    1 1//3 Cups of Water
    1/3 Cup of Crisco Oil
    Blend Together

    Pour 1/4 Stick of Butter
    Cup of Brown Sugar
    Can of Crushed Pineapples
    Into Baking Pan and
    then pour batter in

    Preheat & Bake at 350 for 45 minutes
    Cool and add White Icing onto the cake
    Turn cake over & place on a cake plate

    This was Our Chinese New Years Dessert

    Sounds delicious. Do you combine the butter, brown sugar and pineapple or add each one individually? Sounds like I'll try it.

      Melt the Butter - Spread it into cake pan
      Sprinkle in the Brown Sugar & Pineapples

      You can also serve the finished cake with
      Ice Cream, Reddi Wip and a single Cherry

          I have done this with canned peaches too - it's great.
          Here are two minor variations you can try:
          Use a cupcake pan. Cut butter into small pats and place each bit of butter into the cupcake section. Place in the oven for a few minutes to melt. Then pull the pan out and sprinkle some crushed pineapple in to cover the bottom (make sure the pineapple is well drained). Top with a spinkling of brown sugar in each space - I don't even measure, just enough to cover the bottom. (I sometimes add a pinch of cinnamon too). Then pour in the cake batter, just as if you were making cupcakes. Bake as directed on the cake box, then cool. These are great for individual servings - no mess to cut. If you have muffin sized cupcake pans, you may be able to use pineapple rings.

          The second variation is actually a combination of recipes. We have a cake dessert here that is very popular, called cream cheese cupcakes. I have used the filling from this recipe and placed it in the pineapple (or peach) upside down cupcakes. Take one 8-ounce block of softened cream cheese. Add one egg, 1/3 cup of sugar, 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla and a pinch of salt. Blend well until creamy. Follow the first steps above with the butter, pineaple (or peaches) and brown sugar. Fill your pans about half way with the cake batter, then add a spoonful of the filling in each cupcake. Bake as directed.
          These are REALLY good!

            One Box of Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe
            Pineapple Supreme Premium Cake Mix

            Mix in
            Three Large Eggs
            1 1//3 Cups of Water

            Butter and Flour Pan
            Spinke with Cimmanon
            Add Libbys Lite Peaches

            Use a Round or Oblong Pan
            Pour cake mix over peaches

            Preheat & Bake at 350 for 45 minutes
            Cool and add White Icing onto the cake
            Turn cake over & place on a cake plate

            Serve Warm - So Light and Fluffy - A
            Delicious dessert on a chilly winter night.

                Marti,
                I made the pineapple one. Made it low fat by using apple sauce instead of oil. I didn't understand the icing part, so I skipped it. It is really a moist and delicious cake.

                  Glaze, a lightly decadent dessert topping &
                  Serve cake with fresh lemon and lime slices

                      Mix Cake Mix and
