Yes, easier but how many people always want to boil a potatoe and then cook it (would change the taste would it not), and for those in a rush, they would never WAIT 15 minutes just to peal a potato.

Not much of cook though, so may not be the best to post on that one.

Anyone ever try this?

I like my potatoes with peels on! Now that I think of it, I don't peel any vegetable I eat. I just use my potato brush to clean them.

And Washington potatoes taste better than Idaho potatoes!
