Best Seafood Restaurant in MB!!

is now MRS< FISH!!!!! I have always touted Hoskins and I still love them for home cookin but OMG, Mrs Fish!! That's all they serve, seafood, they use only fresh ingredients, They have a very small place with not too many tables. To cut the cost they use paper plates and plastic forks. They rely on word of mouth, no adds, no coupons, and they are packed at lunch but not bad at supper. You can choose from traditional seafood, the fried oysters were the best I've eaten anywhere!! They also have very inovative fish dishes that will leave you saying wow!! My old boss was the one who told me about it, and now I'm telling everyone!! It is owned by a young Vietnamese couple and when I came in the 2nd time they remembered what Kelli & I liked to drink!! They welcomed us with open arms ( like they had known us forever) They called most of their customers by their first names. I have never enjoyed a place as much as this one. Try it , you'll like it!! But I am a steak eater. Give me steak! No sea food for me although my wife and son would love this place. Wheres the beef.

Shaggy, We are planning next year vacation looks like one week on Hilton Head Island and the second week at MB and guess what we enjoy fresh seafood. Mrs. Fish here we come; now Hoskins is outstanding.

My vote for best seafood is.........

Our favorite seafood when we go to MB which stands for Myrtle Beach is The Seafood Hut in Calabash, NC. We always get a child's plate which has fried oysters, fried shrimp and fried flounder(dark side, of course)!

Next time down, we will try Mrs. Fish........as a matter of fact, the kids are there now so I will tell them to check it out for us!

My husband absolutely cannot go down without having some great country cooking at Hoskins.

You are talking my language, Hoskins & Mrs Fish. We ate at the Seafood Hut in Calabash while we were there and I honestly thought Mrs. Fish was better!! Try the oysters, they only use 1st grade select. I think I'd drive to the beach just to eat there. Enjoy and let me know how you like it. Tell them I said hi!! They probably won't remember my name but tell them I'm the one that used to work at Circuit City and that my boss (Wes) was the one who told me about it. Now, I'm spreading the word. shaggy
