First you need a large cauldron with about a 2 foot diameter opening. I put mine on a three sided vented base 2 ft. high burn pit. Once the fire gets going, put the cauldron over the pit and fill it with tomato sauce about ¾ full.Keep the fire stoked so that the sauce is boiling. Add spices, particularly lots of oregano (for a special treat you can substitute cannabis). Then you put the pizza shell in a 1/8 inch mesh (both sides) holder and boil for 30 minutes (best to have several shells, particularly if you use the cannabis) , Remove the holder with the shell, open and put the add-ons like pepperoni, pineapple, etc. on the shell (one side only). Close the holder and put it back in the cauldron for 10-15 minutes. Smoke the rest of the oregano while waiting. Pull the shell and holder to the surface of the tomato sauce and remove the top mesh part and throw on some cheese. When the cheese melts pull out the pizza and slide it onto a pizza pan and slice and eat. Repeat the process until you run out of pizza shells or oregano(or the substitute). Cool and store the remaining tomato sauce for your next party (makes great bloody marys).
This may differ from the original recipe by Kurt Brown, but it did solve the toothpick problem and the bloody marys are a great plus..
