It is good to know that Birmingham has this notable pizza place.

Last time I been to Birmingham, driving through, it produced a strong impression of the food desert. I stopped in various central locations and asked pedestrians about 5-7 times, and they mostly had hard time telling where I could find some good restaurant. Not even near the university (compare with the area near Berkeley University). Eventually I settled for some random place with some finger-food.

This was before GPS became widespread. Maybe GPS can help there better, not sure.

My neighbor recently bought a mini market and added a restaurant area serving brick oven wood fire pizza. Its thin and goes well with a hefeweizen, imo.
