I have had a few of these more than I will admit I am Shocked that White Castle was mentioned as much as it was. I will say that Donavons was IMO the best and was way better than the Jackson Hole

It's been a while since I've had a hamburger and contrary to the article, there's a place in New Haven, CT that claims to be the original maker of the hamburger called "Louis Lunch". I had a burger there many years ago. My summer cookout meals now are a hamburger for the Mrs. and a sausage burger (with roasted peppers lettuce and mayo) for me. Now I'm hungry.

NYC does not have olive burgers? Y'all are deprived! Although I confess my youthful self was more about Roxy's shakes than the burgers.

I like a lot of burger joint sandwiches, but the best are the ones I mix up and hubby does on the grill. I think I need to go put teriyaki burgers on next week's menu now.

One of my favorites when I lived in Iowa was the pork tenderloin sandwich that was sold at some burger joints.
