Thanks Angela for posting this. Man, you can really learn about everything here on TS4MS.

Believe it or not, no one in my house really knows how to carve a turkey properly. I love cooking them, and they usually come out of the oven in pretty good shape. But, don't ask what happens when my husband and I are in the kitchen trying to carve the thing....It ain't pretty.

Until I found TS4MS, I used to watch a lot of the Food Network. If you watch it a lot, you find out a lot of things about cooking etc. Now, I know too much about timesharing.

Hope, I seem to have the same problem sometimes......

No video, but what I would suggest is to pick everything up, and instead of putting it all in it's proper place, put it in a box, or a closet, or an out of the way room.

You can then take your time and neatly put things into their proper place, when you have more time.

Just don't look into my guest room, if I have fallen behind on a holiday, and I am the host.......

              Grab large empty cardboard box.

              Fill box with clutter.

              Throw box in garage.

              That's what I did yesterday!

ETA: Angela and I went to the same hostess class.

Yes, I majored in that class, and I'm pretty sure that I got an A.

I have the same technique - then the junk molders in their box and six months later I can throw it all out - well, almost all of it.

                    Angela,

I actually used the carving method in the video. It worked really well! Thanks again.

You did, that's great.....It's good to know that it worked well. I had dinner at my brother's house, but I saved the video for the next time that I make a turkey. Hopefully, we will have more success carving, then we normally do.

I usually don't carve the turkey but I watched the video and had to give it a try. What a nice quick easy way to carve a turkey without butchering the bird.

Now my wife is wondering where the cleaning up after the dinner video is.

                        Thank you for the link.
