I've only been there once, for whatever reason, many years ago. I'll have to keep them in mind, next time we're in the mood for steak.

I'm liking their new location. I find myself in that area, much more so than the other locations. It will be great when you're in the theater district.

Just be ready to fork over some big bucks if you let the waiter bring you there top dishs. last time I was there I dropped $400 for 3 of us. I had the Kobe steak at $100, Great steak but not worth the $100 price tag.

Yes, but the steak was perfectly marbled.

Same here.... Now I have to have steak. I'm thinking about going to Rothman's tonight. I have a gift certificate, so what the heck.

Just got back from Morton's, This deal is hard to beat. If you add the prices of just the steak which is $39 x 2 plus Salads which is $11 x 2 that is $100 right there. Now look at else we got included in the $99 meal. 2 sides which is $21 for the two and 1 order of the crab cake and 1 order of the Huge Colossal shrimp> I did not see the prices of the sea food but I would say that the 2 are about $45 now add in the 2 deserts which is another $20 and you get a total value of $186 now add the tax and tip to that amount.
Our bill came to $165 with tax tip and 2 drinks which were $20 total and 2 coffees which is another $7 total.

                    Frank....I agree, it's a good deal.

Everything is sold ala carte in the steak houses, and it ads up quickly.

Las Vegas Steakhouses and other good food

The Palm in Caesars Forum had a good bone in Rib eye but not as good as the bone in Rib eye at LG's PRIME Steakhouse in Palm Springs area.

Nines steakhouse in the Palms was good.
On the top floor at Alize is the best with wonderful food, service and view but a lot more money.

I was disappointed with Harrah's Ranch Steak house. The person serving the drinks in the bar prior to dinner overcharge $7.00 on three drinks. We received no receipt and the wait person returned the $7.00 after we inquired.
The oysters rockefeller was excellent, and the service was good but they overcooked my steak and the replacement steak was adequate.

Piero's just off the strip is excellent from pasta to seafood to appetizers and drinks this place is great. Early arrivers and weekday visitors get very good service.

Gaetano's Ristorante in Henderson NV on Eastern had some great chicken raviolis in a cream pesto sauce.

The Ruth's Chris Steakhouses in Las Vegas are franchises and the menu items you might be used to are not available but I've eaten at over forty locations in their chain and they are very consistent

On the inexpensive side... Ellis Island casino has a $6.99 Steak Special which includes a beer or freshly brewed root beer,
One of the restaurants in the Hard Rock casino has a Gambler's $7.77 special which includes three grilled shrimp with your steak and potatoes. McCormicks and Scmidts has a bar menu at happy hour with five to eight $1.99 specials. The cheeseburger is known nationwide.

Big Mama's Soul food is the place for ribs, collard greens, sweet potato pie, etc. West of downtown off Bonanza.

I am glad I'm not the only one who thought it was expensive. I am a poor soul. I have never paid $100 for a meal. shaggy

We had this special back in June in Atlanta, and I also had a coupon for a nice bottle of Pinot Noir for $40. Anyone get a wine coupon also? Don't know how I got it the last time.

We took advantage of the earlier $99 special. It is definitely a lot of food to eat. We ended up taking the dessert home. The last time, they also offered a wine special, which I don't see advertised this time. Unfortunately, they said that none of the wine was shipped to the DC area, and they didn't offer another bottle at a comparable price.
