  • Thanksgiving Martinis......

    Sounds simple, and yummy!

    Thanksgiving Martinis.....

    Ingredients:
    Ice
The best vodka you can afford
    Pama (pomegranate liqueur)
    Cranberry juice

    Directions:
Fill shaker with ice, three shots of vodka, two shots of Pama, and six shots of cranberry juice.
    Shake, pour into martini glasses.
    Makes two.

I heard those are supposed to be great!! A girl at work makes them every year at Thanksgiving. She said fresh pomegranite juice is better...After cooking all day, who wants to worry about seeds...give me the Pama!!

I don't have any Pama/pomegranite juice, or I'd already have made one.

I can get by on vodka and cranberry juice.

You talked me into it. Cheers!

PS....It's gonna have to be Vodka and Orange Juice, but what the heck.

The wine.woot package this week includes a pomegranate dessert wine. I bet that would make a fine addition to this recipe.

You can also buy refrigerated Pom pomegranate juice in bottles--they keep it by the refrigerated bagged salads and the Marie's refrigerated dressing in my grocery store.

You can buy it at Stop & Shop, too. It's a little pricey for juice, but they always have it. If they're open this morning, I'm going to pick some up, for today. :big grin:

                      That Pama is good stuff!!

We used the Pama, vodka, contreau and a splash of cranberry for our Thanksgiving martinis. So smooth I can only have one or risk being laid out on the floor.
