    Deep Fried Oreo Cookies.....YUM!!

    Boy, do these look yummy!

    Description.....

    "The Oreo loses it's hard crunchy texture and becomes a warm chocolately cake delight. The creamy center melts and creates an inner glaze.

    I like just about anything fried and sweet.

    Last night I went out to dinner with friends and they insisted that we try fried Twinkies. While they weren't bad, I wouldn't order them again. The filling must have melted into the cake because it was undetectable. The best part was the blueberry drizzle that they put on the Twinkies.

        Yeah, deep fried deserts are becoming very popular. They seem to be the "new" thing.......I haven't tried the oreos yet, but they sure look good, and they make a great presentation. Also, they seem fairly easy to make.

        I can see making these after a family BBQ, one night. I'll let you know how they turn out.

              They're sort of like chocolate filled zeppoli, with a hit of cream.

              Not really....The batter is much different tasting.

                      I haven't actually tried them in any restaurants, yet. I came across an article about them yesterday, and they sure do look good. This type of desert is becoming very popular, so I'm guessing they'll be around soon.

                            I've seen these at fairs...in the Poconos, of course!...for years. I think the new thing here is making them at home. I'm kind of afraid of deep-fried Oreos; it's like, what's next, deep-fried butter?
