I guess Frank, Buff and I may be soul mates. Buff was "on the job," as i still am, Frank is from Queens like me. I'm a wine collector, however I don't collect as many and i drink nowadays. Also, I think Buff might kill for my "Playboy" first of Marilyn Monroe. (Just kidding) But I wish.

With a 15 year old and a 3 (that has a chrosome defect), my hobbies include whatever they are doing. We travel when we can around events and appointments. However, in my sparetime I do volunteer on base at the thrift shop and am a member of the Staff Wives Club.

Trying to please Caroll is my favorite whole life hobby. It pays big dividends!

I love itinerary and map planning for trips. Figuring which Do & See items to gram in.

Remodeling (houses normally) but Landscape remodeling (right now).

Photographing the neeto in my life… Like structures from a far place not normally seen from, sails in a sunset, ships and aircraft, seascapes, plant life. Most are 35mm slides and videos so I can’t show you. I too, look for things in different lighting or viewpoint.

Collecting napkin, menu, matchbook, business card and post card of places visited in my travels, especially eating-places. Notice, I didn’t simply say restaurant.

Collecting African Art/Artifacts (inherited this love from my mother. Also, while working in DC, I was a volunteer at the Smithonian for 10 years)

Playing Scrabble -- belong to a club (recently moved to central Virginia, and joined New Virginians), we are not champions; we do this for the fun of it.

Collecting antique-like ( ) furniture and having DH restore it.

Decorating/Re-decorating my home (I am addicted to the HGTV and the Fine Living Channels)

Beading-- because I love big, bold necklaces and bracelets, I decided to take up this hobby to make my own.

Lastly, but definitely not least, I love being a grannie. Became a grannie for the first time, 25 October 2005. The twins are two of the joys of my life. I never knew it could be so much fun/less stressful playing with babies, spoiling them, and then returning them to their parents (while you then get to go home and get a good nites' sleep -- because they definitely tire out my old bones)
