  • Cheescake Factory-Today Only!

Celebrating National Cheesecake Day and their 30th anniversary, the Cheesecake Factory has rolled prices back to their opening. Today ONLY (July 30, 2008) they are offering slices of their great cheesecakes for only $1.50. Yes, that's right, $1.50! There is a limit of one per customer. I didn't see anything that says you have to buy anything else.

Gosh, we always have a long wait to get in there...with this promo, it will be nigh on to impossible! Delicious, but difficult if you don't have a lot of patience and time.

At every Cheesecake Factory I've been to they do have a "takeout" counter if you want to just buy a slice of cheesecake. I would imagine that if this offer was good for the takeout those counters would be mobbed as well.

I went to their website, it is for 'dine-in guests'.

Since I don't get out often, and have never been to the factory, what does a slice normally cost?

They do really yummy cheesecake. And for a chain they aren't bad at all though can be a bit pricey. However the servings are very generous.

Tell me. I never get their cheesecake, but we decided to get some when we were on vacation in Seattle. We'd had dinner elsewhere, but the Cheesecake Factory was near the hotel. Oh gosh, it was good. And I can't believe I ate the whole thing!

You are BAD! Those are big slices and they'll put hot fudge on the side...
Even DS is content to split one with me. I'm done after 3 or 4 bites anyway.

I know, I know. Younger dd got a slice as well. She couldn't finish hers and kept saying "Mom how could you eat it all!!!" If dh and I had wanted the same kind, we could have/should have split a piece. But, as I said, I never (usually) have cheesecake. And probably won't have any again for a long, long time. I'm still paying penance for vacation.

I hope to win a cheesecake this FF season.

Banana Cream Cheesecake is my favorite. Worth every penny. Light and fluffy with a large amount of real whipped creme on top. The take out one we bought at Christmas was not as good as the in house one.

My cousin loves the Godiva Cheesecake.

I will have to try it one day. There is not a location within 1 1/2 hours from me. Guess it will have to be when we are on vacation.
